Jonah and the Whale

Today I dropped the kids of at school without mom.  They even just wanted to be left off, usually Libby likes to be walked in, so that was easy!  Their Nan brought Tessa back later in the morning and put her down for a nap, then took off to see the afternoon showing of the school production of "Jonah and the Whale".  Tessa was bit upset when she woke up asking for Nan and she wasn't there.  But once I suggested we play she was fine and forgot all about it.  Nan brought Reuben and Libby home after their show and we played soccer on the trampoline for awhile.  Now that I've done it once I think Reuben will be asking me everyday from now on!  We had an early dinner of spaghetti bolognese, which I had prepared the sauce for earlier in the day.  It was a huge hit with Tessa, she cleaned her plate!  Then we were all off to see the 6 o'clock performance.  It was really well done and I found it funny that they served beer and wine to the audience before the show as a school fundraiser.  Not too eventful a day, but exactly a typical Tuesday either.  I may end up with one typical weekday before the school holidays this weekend.  Then the next two weeks will be a bit all over the place, trying to schedule in activities for the kids to do when we get back from the start of the week vacation.
