Back to Routine

Yesterday, Monday morning, I was back to yoga, and Sharon (the owner of the school) was happy to see I'd lived through all my adventures I had told her about!  Then it's back to a normal routine with the kids this week so far.  Although Libby had a playdate after school yesterday so it was an easy start to the week, just having Reuben home after school, and he was eager to get to his touch game early anyway, so Julia took him early to that while I made dinner for the kids.  Today I brought the kids to school and then Tessa and I made our usual park stop on the way home.  She had a nice long sleep and I even had a little nap during some of that time too.  I think I still had catching up to do from the weekend!  Tonight I went for a swim, after the kids had dinner, in Sophie's pool next door!  Or really her host family's pool I suppose.  But they are a bit more than her host family, they are family friends from Switzerland so she is living with them while she does a course here.

After the swim, in the extremely warm, solar-heated pool, I went to tennis.  The Business House tournament started tonight and I met my team too!  Most people sort of form their own, but as I am still getting to know people, and they were short a team, one was formed for me, 2 guys and one other girl from some mixed doubles play.  Now that will continue for the next few weeks, every Tuesday night followed by dinner.  Point are kept for the number of games won overall.  Unfortunately, my team didn't do too great tonight, but at least we're not in last place after round 1!  I am also needed as a reserve for an interclub team on Saturday afternoon!  Women's doubles followed by mixed doubles, home team (which is us) brings a dish for afterward.  This will be the first REAL tennis match I've played in awhile so we'll see how it goes!  Should be fun if nothing else!
